Principles of Intellectual Property Rights and Copyright
This policy clarifies the principles of intellectual property rights and copyright that apply to all content created, uploaded, or used through the Classvera platform. It explains the responsibilities of Classvera, its trainers, trainees, and all beneficiaries regarding the protection of intellectual creations and rights.
Intellectual Property Rights and Copyright in the E-Training Environment
Intellectual property rights are a set of legal rights that protect the works of authors and creators from being reproduced, exploited, or distributed by others without their consent. These rights include, but are not limited to, copyright, trademarks, inventions, designs, databases, and other creative outputs.
In the context of the e-training environment on Classvera, these rights apply to all courses, programs, videos, presentations, documents, questions banks, worksheets, and any other educational or promotional material.
Principles of Intellectual Property Rights at Classvera
- Classvera is committed to intellectual property rights and to ensuring that all published content on the platform respects these rights.
- Trainers, content creators, and similar parties are committed to respecting ownership and licensing when developing or uploading content.
- When open-licensed or public content is used, the source must be properly cited according to the applicable license.
- Classvera is committed to reviewing the content of all courses and programs, as far as reasonably possible, to ensure that they are free from intellectual property violations.
Classvera Policy in Allowing the Publication of Content
- It is forbidden to publish any content that exposes or portrays people, institutions, or entities in an offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate manner.
- It is forbidden to publish, quote, or reuse any copyrighted material (such as books, articles, images, videos, or questions) without obtaining the necessary permissions or ensuring that the use is allowed under an applicable license.
- It is forbidden to upload or publish content that contradicts public morals, religious values, or local regulations.
- It is forbidden to publish any content that promotes hatred or discrimination on the basis of race, sect, nationality, or similar grounds.
Actions Taken by Classvera in the Event of a Violation of Intellectual Property Rights
Any user (trainer, trainee, or other) who uses training programs or services on Classvera and violates intellectual property rights may be subject to legal and disciplinary measures. In case of a confirmed violation, Classvera may take one or more of the following actions:
- Removing or disabling access to the infringing content from the platform.
- Sending a written warning to the user who committed the violation.
- Restricting or suspending the user’s access to the platform, temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity and repetition of the violation.
- Cooperating with the relevant authorities or rights holders, when necessary, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
These principles apply to all beneficiaries of Classvera services. All employees, trainers, and users of the platform are committed to implementing this policy. Any violation of these principles exposes the violator to disciplinary action in accordance with the procedures adopted by Classvera and with the applicable intellectual property laws.
