E-Attendance Policy
Rules and procedures for electronic attendance on the Classvera platform.
E-Attendance Policy
The attendance policy at Classvera aims to clarify the organizational procedures for synchronous electronic attendance, as synchronous attendance refers to virtual presence in online classrooms and ensuring the trainee’s presence in real time for each lesson. Therefore, specific rules and procedures have been developed to regulate electronic attendance, as outlined below:
- Electronic attendance through virtual classes is equivalent to regular physical attendance.
- Attendance hours must include synchronous virtual classes at a minimum of (25%) of the total program/course hours when training is provided in asynchronous mode, for programs that exceed one month.
- Attendance hours must include synchronous sessions at a minimum of (25%) of program hours in blended learning programs (virtual + regular attendance) that exceed one month.
- All trainees are required to attend according to the official time schedule of the training program.
- The trainee must attend at least (75%) of the total hours allocated to the program in which he/she is registered.
Recording and Tracking Attendance
Attendance and absence are recorded, documented, and followed up through the following mechanism:
- The trainee must log in to the Classvera platform and complete the login process.
- Once logged in, the entry and preparation time is calculated automatically by the system.
Failure to Meet the Minimum Attendance Requirements
If the trainee does not comply with the minimum approved percentage of electronic attendance, the following rules will apply:
1. Excused Absence:
- Excused absences will be accepted only upon providing a valid medical report issued by an approved medical facility, and all reports must be submitted to the trainer.
2. Unexcused Absence:
- An unexcused absence results in the trainee being deprived of receiving the certificate of attendance for the program.
- The trainee is considered not eligible for certification if attendance is below (70%) of the total program hours.
Policy Scope and Compliance
This attendance policy applies to all trainees enrolled in programs provided through Classvera. All employees and trainers are fully committed to implementing this policy. Any violation of these rules exposes the violator to disciplinary action according to the procedures adopted by Classvera.
